Metropolis Performing Arts Centre seeks teaching artists for future Community Engagement programs.
Community Engagement, part of Metropolis School of the Performing Arts, collaborates with organizations, schools, and community groups to create and implement performing arts learning experiences. Examples of these programs include a year-long acting techniques class and production for people with disabilities; a barbershop chorus for senior citizens; after-school musical theatre programs for elementary students; and various improv, acting, and design workshops for elementary students, teenagers, and staff.
As Community Engagement grows, we are in demand for a larger pool of teaching artists to draw from.
